THE Combishape.

ANUGA 2003, the company SIG Combibloc caused a surprise with its market launch of the Combishape concept, a carton that is no longer brick-shaped. Condi film is starting 2004 in the steps of this development and will equip JOKER, the first user of this technology in France, with a bundler and tray packer assembly designed for this new package

Ever faster, ever more functional.

Following the decision by the Portuguese Lactogal company to equip its new production unit entirely with Condi film machines Condi film launched a new high rate box packer in the PB12 range, called the PB12 WA friction. As of today this machine can achieve rates of 43 boxes per minute by grouping 6 one litre Tetra Pak brick packs, giving a total production of 12 000 brick packs / hour + 30%. However the new blank destacking concept will make it possible to achieve much higher rates of up to 60 to 70 cycles per minute in the future, regardless of the grouping required. In this machine the box packers are coupled to Condi film weldless packformers to produce lots in filmed open trays according to the customer’s requirements. The revolutionary PB12 WA friction machine is extremely flexible and allows format changes to be made without tools in less than 10 minutes. Compact, elegant, reliable and fast, this machine is promised a long future.

A high rate packformer as well

One year after launching the first high rate machine in the market of 200ml brick portion packs, Condi film sold the fourth machine of the this new generation. The first three machines were for Base and Middle 200ml packs. This new machine packs 200ml Slim bricks. This brick pack is higher than the others and has turned out to be extremely delicate to manoeuvre. Hence the choice by IPARLAT, a dairy product processor on the Spanish Basque coast, which has just purchased this Condi film FR6, to be installed behind a Tetra Pak filler, working at a rate of 22 000 + 20 % bricks hour in groups of 3 (3x1). The resulting packforming rate will be 150 packs per minute with marked and printed film! Who can better that? As usual, Condi film has a once again created a machine which is extremely safe and reliable. The FR6 high rate machine is delivered complete with a 4-track distributor, an accumulation conveyor, two Brushless (Servo-drive) motors and a latest generation shrinkage tunnel.
