Frequently asked questions

Q : How do you produce the seal around the batch?
R : The technology of so-called "seamless" machines is based on overlapping the film. Below the pack, where the consumer cannot see it, the film is sealed automatically through the action of heat in the shrinking oven.

Q : What film should be used?
R : Our rmachines operate with a roll of polyethylene film. A specification sheet for PE film is available on request. Look up the sheet

Q : What roll diameter can I use?
R : The maximum diameter is 600 mm.

Q : What is the diameter of the roll core?
R : The rolls are fitted outside the machine. The core diameter is therefore not important.

Q : How long does it take to change a film roll?
R : A few seconds to connect a new roll during production. 1 to 2 minutes for a complete change for printed film.

Q : Can I use a printed and indexed film?
R : Yes, all our machines can be fitted will an index spot reading cell for printed film.

Q : What thickness of polyethylene film do you recommend?
R : We recommend a minimum thickness of 45µ, with the highest possible density.

Q : Are your machines multi-format?
R : Yes, changeover from one format to another takes just a few minutes and requires no tools.

Q : Is the film lifting and cutting system easy to maintain?
R : All our machines are supplied as standard with an extractable film lifting device, allowing very fast and easy maintenance outside the machine.
